Job Description

Role Summary:

Business Development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop Government Sales strategy across assigned states.
  • Maintain strong relationships within the Ministry & senior officials in:
    • PWD (Public Works Department)

    • NHAI (National Highways Authority of India)

    • Urban Development Departments

    • Water Resources Departments

    • Irrigation and Rural Development Authorities

    • Mining Department & ( MCL, BCCL, CCL, SECL )

  • Identify business opportunities through

    tenders, sub contracts or back to back contract.

  • Arrange JV partners & efficient sub contractors for project execution.

  • Stay abreast of policy changes, budgets, and tender notifications relevant to the business.
  • Represent the company in meetings with government officials, consultants, and public-sector clients.
  • Facilitate necessary approvals, registrations, and empanelments with relevant government bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 25+ years of relevant experience in government sales or business development in infrastructure & mining sectors.

  • Proven track record of successfully bagging government business in

    roads ,highways, irrigation, water

    & mining

    sectors

    valued Rs. 100cr +.

  • Established network and easy access to officials in

    PWD, NHAI, UD, WR & Mining Departments

    .
  • Strong knowledge of public procurement processes, tendering, and government contracting norms.
  • Excellent communication, lobbying, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively across the states..

Preferred Background:

  • Worked with EPC companies, large infrastructure players, or consultancies with a government focus.
  • Former government officers with relevant department experience may also be considered.

  • Engineering background or relevant technical understanding is a plus.

Remuneration:

  • Compensation will be the best in the industry , commensurate with the candidate's experience, network & ability to deliver results.
  • Joining period - Negotiable
  • This is a WFH post. ( Remote )
