COO - Water business

Role Summary:

We are a start-up in the Water Business sector, seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO). The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record in securing and executing large-scale water infrastructure projects, with deep industry connections and proven leadership in driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall operations of the Water Business vertical.
  
• Secure

  large-value projects( direct contract / back to back contract / subcontract )

  ensuring successful procurement, execution, and full payment realization.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and subcontractor alliances for efficient project delivery.
  
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders including government departments, regulatory bodies, and private sector companies.
  
• Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle management -- planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
  
• Drive financial and operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with statutory and contractual obligations.
  
• Represent the company in high-level meetings, negotiations, and industry forums.
  
• Mentor and guide the team to build strong execution capabilities.
  

Candidate Profile

• Experience:

  Minimum

  30 years in Water

  / Infrastructure / EPC sectors.

• Proven Expertise:

  Track record of procuring and executing projects with timely payment realization.

• Network:

  Strong network with government agencies, PSUs, and private sector companies in the water and infrastructure domains.

• Leadership:

  Demonstrated ability to form JVs, partnerships, and manage subcontractors effectively.

• Qualification:

  B.Tech (Civil / Environmental / Water Resources Engineering or equivalent).

• Preferred Background:

  Retired or serving senior government officials / PSU executives with relevant sector exposure are encouraged to apply.
