Head Apparel Sourcing All Categories

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head - Apparel Sourcing to lead the sourcing and vendor

management funcon across all apparel categories, including mens, women’s, and kids’. The ideal

candidate will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, idenfying reliable vendors,

ensuring quality and compliance, and managing melines to ensure efficient product delivery from

concept to shelf.

Key Responsibilies:

• Vendor Management & Development:

• Idenfy, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and manufacturers across all

apparel categories.

• Build strong relaonships with vendors to ensure long-term partnerships and

consistent product quality.

• Sourcing Strategy:

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with company goals.
• Explore new markets and sourcing hubs to opmize cost, quality, and delivery

melines.

• Cost Negoaon & Budgeng:

• Drive cost-effecve sourcing while maintaining high quality and compliance

standards.

• Negoate prices, terms, and condions to ensure profitability.

• Product Development:

• Collaborate with design and merchandising teams to source materials and samples

in line with seasonal calendars.

• Oversee sampling and pre-producon processes.

• Quality & Compliance:

• Ensure all sourced products meet quality standards, legal regulaons, and company

policies.

• Conduct periodic factory audits and ensure adherence to compliance norms (social,

ethical, environmental).

• Delivery & Timelines:

• Monitor and manage producon melines to ensure mely delivery.
• Address bolenecks in the supply chain and coordinate with logiscs teams.

• Reporng & Analysis:

• Maintain records and reports related to sourcing acvies, vendor performance, and

cost analysis.

• Analyse sourcing data to idenfy areas of improvement and cost savings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Technology, Apparel Merchandising, Texle Engineering, or

related field.

• Minimum 15 years of experience in apparel sourcing across categories.

• Strong network of suppliers and manufacturers, both domesc and internaonal.

• Excellent negoaon, communicaon, and analycal skills.

• Deep understanding of texle/apparel producon processes, quality standards, and

compliance norms.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-funconal environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ERP systems and sourcing soware.

• Knowledge of sustainability pracces in sourcing.

• Mullingual abilies are a plus.
