• To develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• The preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• To manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to optimize financial performance and mitigate risks.
• To coordinate with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and tax authorities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance.
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
• Evaluate and implement financial systems and tools to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance reporting capabilities.
• Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and economic factors to assess their impact on financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans, financial forecasts, and investment strategies to support business growth and expansion.
• Strong knowledge of real estate accounting principles, including revenue recognition, cost allocation, lease accounting, and project accounting.
