Hardware & Network Engineer

Job Title: Hardware & Networking Engineer Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Hardware & Networking Engineer to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware systems and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of IT hardware, LAN/WAN networks, and security protocols, with the ability to resolve issues efficiently and support end-users. Key Responsibilities • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals. • Set up and manage LAN, WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment. • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues. • Perform regular system and network monitoring to ensure optimal performance. • Implement and maintain data backup, recovery, and security measures. • Upgrade and repair hardware components as required. • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights. • Provide technical support and training to end-users on IT hardware and networking systems. • Document network configurations, system updates, and troubleshooting procedures. • Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to IT infrastructure. Requirements • Proven experience as a Hardware & Networking Engineer, IT Support Engineer, or similar role. • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN). • Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices. • Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and data protection. • Good problem-solving and analytical skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or MCSE (preferred).
