Job Description

As a Guidewire Policy Center developer with rating experience, you will be responsible for analyzing client requirements, reviewing estimates, and suggesting updates. You will design and develop solutions in a timely manner, support testing activities, and address client queries. Effective communication and collaboration with the onsite team is essential. You will participate in scrum calls, provide status reports, and contribute to the Agile delivery process. Key requirements for this role include hands-on experience in Guidewire Policy Center, proficiency in Rating, and a strong understanding of the Guidewire platform, including Gosu scripting, UI development, and Data Model. Additionally, experience with databases such as Oracle or SQL Server, along with expertise in SQL queries, is required. Familiarity with SCM tools like GIT, TFS, SVN, and DevOps practices is crucial. Knowledge of servers or containers like Tomcat, JBoss, or Websphere, as well as exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure, will be beneficial. The ideal candidate will possess good written and oral communication skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a solid understanding of insurance domain concepts. Familiarity with Scrum, SAFe, or other Agile delivery methodologies is preferred. Nice-to-have skills include proficiency in ant script development.
