Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Guidewire PolicyCenter Rating Developer to design, implement, and maintain rating logic and structures in the PolicyCenter application. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of insurance product models, rating algorithms, and Guidewires rating engine framework. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain rating logic using Guidewire Rating Engine within PolicyCenter. Work with the Product Model to implement coverage terms, rate tables, and modifiers. Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners to understand and refine rating requirements. Write and maintain GOSU code for rating calculations and integration points. Perform unit testing and support QA/UAT during system testing phases. Troubleshoot and resolve rating-related defects and issues in lower and production environments. Ensure rating configurations comply with business rules, regulatory requirements, and technical standards. Required Skills: 4-8 years of experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter , specifically in Rating Development . Strong knowledge of Guidewire Product Model and Rating Framework . Hands-on experience in GOSU programming and Java . Familiarity with Rate Tables , Rate Books , Modifiers , and Coverage Terms . Understanding of commercial or personal lines insurance products. Nice to Have: Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Certification or Rating Certification . Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform .
