Guidewire Developer

Primary Title:

• Design, develop and customise Guidewire InsuranceSuite components (PolicyCenter / ClaimCenter) using Gosu and PCF to meet business requirements.
• Implement and maintain integrations with third-party systems using SOAP and REST web services; build and troubleshoot integration mappings and transformation logic.
• Lead data conversion and ETL activities for migrations, including mapping, scripting, and validating data loads into Guidewire.
• Participate in full SDLC—requirement analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment and production support; produce technical documentation and runbooks.
• Contribute to performance tuning, root-cause analysis, unit testing and code reviews to ensure production stability and adherence to engineering standards.
• Work closely with business analysts, QA, and infra teams to resolve defects, implement enhancements and support release activities in an on-site delivery model.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on Guidewire PolicyCenter or ClaimCenter development experience, delivering configuration and customizations.
• Proficient in Gosu and PCF page development.
• Experience with Guidewire Studio and Guidewire development lifecycle tools.
• Strong competency in SOAP and REST web services integration.
• Solid SQL skills and experience with relational databases for data conversions and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to work on-site with delivery teams in P&C insurance implementations and provide production support.
  

Preferred

• Experience with Guidewire BillingCenter or multi-suite InsuranceSuite projects.
• Familiarity with Guidewire Integration Frameworks and batch processing.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS) and CI/CD pipelines for Guidewire deployments.
  

Additional Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent technical qualification.
• 3+ years of hands-on Guidewire implementation experience (implementations, upgrades or migrations) is strongly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude, attention to code quality and experience working in Agile delivery teams.
