Key Responsibilities: Greet and welcome guests warmly as they arrive at the restaurant Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waiting lists using POS or reservation systems Ensure seating arrangements are efficient and guest-friendly Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and prompt resolution Coordinate with the service and kitchen team to ensure smooth dining experiences Maintain a database of guest preferences for personalized service (birthdays, favorite dishes, etc.) Assist in promoting specials, loyalty programs, or upcoming events Monitor guest satisfaction through feedback and take necessary corrective actions Ensure cleanliness and ambiance standards are maintained in the front-of-house area Train and supervise hostess or reception staff (if applicable) Desired Skills & Qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong customer service and conflict-resolution abilities Pleasing personality with professional grooming Attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in reservation or POS software Degree/diploma in hospitality or restaurant management is an advantage Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays KPIs / Success Metrics: Guest satisfaction scores / reviews Reservation handling efficiency Repeat customer rate Timely complaint resolution Upselling success (events, specials, etc.)
