GST Accountant

About Us:
We are a well-established Chartered Accountancy firm in Gurugram, Haryana, renowned for delivering high-quality financial and taxation services. We are looking for a dedicated Accountant with expertise in GST and indirect taxation to join our esteemed team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of indirect taxation, with a focus on Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance, including return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C etc.), reconciliations, and input tax credit management.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of GST-related reports and documentation.
• Handle accounting tasks, including maintenance of books of accounts, ledgers, and financial statements in compliance with statutory requirements.
• Assist in resolving client queries related to GST and other indirect tax matters.
• Conduct GST audits and ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines.
• Stay updated on changes in GST laws, notifications, and compliance requirements.
• Support clients with advisory services on GST planning and optimization.
• Collaborate with the team to streamline accounting and taxation processes.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity in accounting software.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Educational Qualification: B.Com or CA Dropout.
• Experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience in a reputed CA firm, with strong expertise in GST and indirect taxation.
• In-depth knowledge of GST laws, indirect taxation, and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Office (particularly Excel).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team coordination.

Preferred Skills:

• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest GST regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to handle complex GST-related issues and provide practical solutions.
• Proactive and team-oriented with a focus on process improvement.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
