GSOC Manager

As an experienced GSOC Manager (Physical Security) at Control Risks, your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of Operators and Senior Operators at a newly developed security operations center in Bangalore. You will be an integral part of our information technology-sector client's global security team. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with the Global Security SOC Head and other teams to respond to regional risks that pose a significant threat to the enterprise. - Utilize established processes and strategies for comprehensive crisis management through risk assessments and threat management. - Lead the SOC in daily operations, ensuring the implementation of policies, directives, procedures, and best practices. - Determine staffing requirements, oversee recruiting, hiring, and retention of highly qualified employees for effective SOC operation. - Regularly communicate management updates on incidents, emerging risks, and other issues that may impact business operations. - Establish, record, and monitor performance metrics to evaluate the SOC's effectiveness. - Collaborate with the Client FTE Senior Director Physical Security on various matters. - Govern the generation of regular reports and metrics from GSOC. - Manage suppliers and vendors, including critical services and manpower agencies. - Oversee physical security operations and emergency response in the region. - Coordinate and schedule training at a global level. Qualifications Required: - Eight (8) or more years of applicable experience with a minimum of four (4) years in a supervisory role. - Strong planning, organizational, and motivational skills. - Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in both technical and non-technical formats. - Proficiency in extemporaneous speaking in formal and informal settings. - Experience in root cause analysis, industry benchmarking, survey evaluation, and data interpretation. - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply logical processes to complex issues. - Capability to implement strategic plans with innovation and creativity aligned with team and organizational goals. - Proficient in Troubleshooting CCURE, GENTEC, LENEL systems. - Good knowledge of MS Office, PowerBI, PowerAutomate, etc. would be advantageous.,
