Location: Mumbai About the client: PSS has been mandated to hire a Group Lead - Audit - Offsite, Concurrent & Quality Assurance for a leading Indian private sector bank with pan India operations and a track record of over 100 years. Job Purpose The purpose of this role is to lead and drive audits of various departments, functions, and branches under the Internal Audit department. Key Responsibilities Managerial responsibilities: Responsible for managing audits in line with the internal and regulatory provisionsResponsible for submitting timely and quality deliverables to Audit Committee of Executives and Audit Committee of the Board.Overall responsibility of handling a team of approximately 40 members.Ensuring optimum manpower and its effective utilization. Functional Responsibility Manage offsite audits based on the identified control points for various business verticals and support functions.Plan, design, and implement the Offsite and Concurrent AuditsReview the policies/ SOPs of the departmentEnsure open issues tracking for offsite and Concurrent AuditsEnsure relevant processes benchmarked to best practicesEnsure audit checklists are devised for effective offsite auditsProvide an improvement/ suggestion on the existing process/ systems to the line managementEnsure timely and correct presentations made to internal committeesEnsure adherence to regulatory submissions and certificationsEnsure growth and development of team membersEnsure smooth discussion with regulatorsTransparent appraisal of team members Educational Qualifications And Experience Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 12 years’ experienceExperience in the banking industry, handling multiple sites and departments/ functionsAbility to manage large teams
