Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our team and help craft visually stunning and engaging video content for our Instagram channel. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of storytelling, and expertise in editing short-form videos optimized for Instagram’s fast-paced, mobile-first audience. You’ll work closely with our content creators to bring our brand vision to life through high-quality edits.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging short-form videos (e.g., Reels, Stories, IGTV) tailored for Instagram.
• Incorporate music, sound effects, transitions, text overlays, and graphics to enhance video quality and audience engagement.
• Ensure all videos align with our brand tone, style, and aesthetic.
• Optimize videos for Instagram’s technical requirements (e.g., aspect ratios like 9:16, 1:1, or 4:5; duration limits).
• Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm ideas and execute creative concepts.
• Manage multiple editing projects and deliver high-quality videos within tight deadlines.
• Stay updated on Instagram trends, editing techniques, and platform updates to keep content fresh and relevant.
• Perform basic color correction, audio balancing, and other post-production tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a portfolio showcasing Instagram or social media video edits.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools (e.g., CapCut, InShot for mobile editing is a plus).
• Strong understanding of Instagram’s video formats, trends, and audience preferences.
• Creative mindset with excellent storytelling skills through visuals and sound.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics or animation (e.g., using After Effects) is a plus but not required.
• Attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing content.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of video editing experience.
• Reliable internet connection and access to necessary editing software/hardware (if remote).
• Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to feedback quickly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
