Position: Graphic Designer Location: [Worli, Mumbai] - Office based job (No Hybrid working model) Type: Full-time Job Overview: As a Graphic Designer at Slimjim, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of our brand. You will be responsible for creating compelling visual content that resonates with our target audience and captures the essence of our brand's unique identity. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of design principles, be proficient in industry-standard software, and have a proven track record of delivering eye-catching designs, particularly in packaging. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop visual concepts that align with the brand's identity and messaging. Create captivating graphics, illustrations, and layouts for various marketing materials, including social media content, website graphics, promotional materials, and more. Design visually appealing product packaging that stands out on shelves and communicates the brand's values and product features. Develop and edit engaging videos that showcase product usage, brand stories, and promotional campaigns. Ensure consistent application of the brand's visual elements across all touchpoints, with a focus on packaging design. Stay updated with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the team. Take ownership of projects from conceptualization to execution, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality in all deliverables. Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of professional graphic design experience. Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including digital graphics, packaging designs, and video content. Experience in packaging design, with the ability to create attractive, functional, and on-brand packaging solutions. Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques. Creative mindset with the ability to translate concepts into compelling visual designs. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. A passion for design, a keen eye for aesthetics, and an understanding of current design trends. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
