About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Engineer Trainee (Mechanical) to join our team. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience and technical knowledge in mechanical engineering functions across various departments. The trainee will be mentored and trained to develop core engineering competencies and contribute to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in mechanical design, planning, and implementation of engineering projects.
• Support production and manufacturing processes by providing technical inputs.
• Learn and apply preventive and breakdown maintenance practices for machinery and equipment.
• Participate in process improvement, quality checking, and product testing activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, maintenance, and planning.
• Study and analyse machine performance and report observations.
• Prepare and maintain technical reports, documentation, and SOPs.
• Follow health, safety, and quality standards in the workplace.
• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and rotational assignments across departments.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes & mechanical systems
• Understanding of AutoCAD / SolidWorks / CATIA (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of quality tools (5S, Kaizen, Lean concepts)
• Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to industrial environments
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the organization

Education & Qualification

• B. E / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering (recent graduate or final year appearing)

Experience

• Freshers preferred
• Internship or vocational training in manufacturing/engineering firm will be an added advantage
