Graduate Trainee Engineer

As a GET/Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible for creating custom 3D designs for packaging, ensuring they meet standards such as drop tests and bursting pressure. You will also design molds for manufacturing and conduct DFMEA while collaborating with cross-functional teams for design approval. It will be your duty to adhere to quality controls, both for design and process, based on internal standards. Additionally, you will develop conceptual designs of SPM, liaise with vendors for fabrication, and document experimental procedures systematically. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 0-2 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, preferably with a focus on experimental and trial work. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with proficiency in CAD software like SolidWorks and AutoCAD for designing test setups. Familiarity with data analysis tools, excellent communication, and teamwork skills are required. Attention to detail, organizational abilities, independence in work, and effective multitasking are crucial aspects of this role. Knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes will be advantageous.
