Graduate Engineering Trainee - Sales

ASSA ABLOY Openings Solutions India Pvt. Ltd.

• Assist regional sales teams in identifying and converting business opportunities across residential, commercial, and institutional projects.
• Support sales pipeline activitieslead generation, proposal creation, client follow-ups, and CRM management.
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers to engage with architects, consultants, contractors, and end users.
• Participate in product demonstrations, mock-ups, and presentations to promote technical solutions.

Technical & Pre-Sales Support

• Learn about ASSA ABLOYs mechanical and digital product portfoliodoor hardware, digital locks, access control systems, and smart home solutions.
• Support specification creation and documentation with the Specifications and Projects teams.
• Engage with architects and consultants in pre-sales technical discussions.

Market Engagement & Collaboration

• Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking.
• Contribute to marketing campaigns, technical sessions, and trade events.
• Coordinate internally with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Marketing, Logistics, Finance) to ensure smooth execution of client projects.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Education:
• BE/B.Tech (Mechanical, Civil, Electronics, Electrical)
• MBA (Marketing) preferred for some roles (not mandatory)
• Experience:
• Freshers or up to 1 year internship/project experience in sales, construction, or building materials industries

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Technical aptitude and willingness to learn complex solutions
• Customer-centric mindset with excellent relationship-building ability
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit is an advantage
• Highly motivated, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
