Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and technically sound Graduate Engineer Trainee to join our Design Engineering team. The trainee will be given opportunity to work on Indigenous technology while learning to balance functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., Solid Edge SolidWorks, AutoCAD,).
  • Support in designing components and assemblies as per design requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including assembly, Purchase, and quality for design feasibility.
  • Participate in product standardization.
  • Contribute to design validation, tolerance analysis, and design documentation.
  • Understand and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) where applicable.
  • Keep updated with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related Engineering fields.
  • Certification in Solid Edge, SolidWorks.
  • Basic understanding of engineering materials, manufacturing processes, and product design principles.
  • Good problem-solving and visualization skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.
