Role Overview

Were looking for a specialist who thrives on closing meaningful deals, navigating complex govt and enterprise buying cycles, and taking ownership of revenue growth. Youll be the face of Digilion to our clients- from first outreach to final handshake.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Own the Outreach: Identify, engage, and build relationships with potential govt tech clients across central, state, and PSU segments.
  • Solution Selling: Present complex offerings like blockchain platforms + AI solutions in a way thats easy for non-technical stakeholders to understand – and compelling enough to win buy-in
  • Pipeline Management: Drive leads from first contact to closed deal, ensuring a healthy and consistent sales funnel
  • Client Retention & Growth: Build trust-based relationships that lead to repeat business and long-term partnerships
  • Collaboration with Tech Teams: Work closely with our delivery and engineering teams to ensure promises made to clients are delivered on time and to spec
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, government tenders, and policy changes that could open new opportunities
  • Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and key performance metrics

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience: 7–14 years in technology sales, with at least part of that in government / public sector accounts
  • Tech Awareness: Familiarity with emerging tech such as blockchain, AI, custom applications, and mobile solutions. You don’t need to code – but you do need to talk tech confidently
  • Sales Skills: Proven record of prospecting, relationship building, and closing deals in the IT solutions space
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills, with the ability to lead persuasive presentations and craft compelling proposals
  • Negotiation: Comfortable preparing quotes, navigating procurement processes, and finalizing contracts
  • Advantageous: Prior experience working with startups, boutique tech firms, or government RFP/tender-driven sales cycles
