We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Gold Loan Officer to manage the sales and operations of our gold loan products. The role involves customer handling, gold appraisal, loan disbursement, takeover of gold loans from other institutions, and collections—ensuring smooth branch operations while adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:Customer Handling & Sales

• Attend walk-in customers and explain gold loan features, eligibility, interest rates, and terms.
• Identify potential customers and generate new leads through field visits, references, and marketing activities.
• Manage Gold Loan Takeovers by identifying customers with existing loans in NBFCs/Banks and converting them with competitive offers.
• Educate customers on the benefits of transferring existing gold loans to our institution (lower rates, better service, flexible terms).

Gold Appraisal & Loan Processing

• Conduct accurate gold valuation using standard tools and methods.
• Verify KYC documents and ensure proper loan documentation.
• Process loan applications and ensure timely disbursement.

Takeover Activities

• Maintain strong relationships with local market influencers to identify takeover opportunities.
• Ensure complete documentation during takeover (NOC, foreclosure statements, and gold verification).
• Coordinate with branch and central teams for smooth gold transfer and system updates.

Operations & Compliance

• Maintain accurate records of all gold loan transactions.
• Ensure vault management and gold security as per audit standards.
• Comply with company policies, audit procedures, and RBI guidelines.

Follow-up & Collection

• Follow up with customers for interest payments, renewals, and closures.
• Support the recovery and collection team in handling overdue or default accounts.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: Graduate (mandatory).
• 1–3 years of experience in Gold Loan or Financial Services.
• Familiarity with Gold Loan Takeover process.
• Strong knowledge of local market, gold appraisal, and documentation.
• Good communication skills in the local language and basic English.
• Self-motivated, trustworthy, and customer service oriented.
