Base Location :- Baroda (Candidate will seat in Baroda location)

Reporting to CEO – Transformer Business

Reported by

o Plant Head – Kherdi, Unit II

o Plant Head – Vadodara, New Unit

o Lead Quality

o Lead Service

o Lead Design

Key Responsibilities :- Candidate will be responsible for both Units Vadodara & Unit II of Kherdi location.

Shall be responsible for:

Direct overall manufacturing activities for all the plants of transformer business including production, dispatch, quality assurance, safety, innovation, kaizen.

Set up processes for new unit/product as and when required

Achieve production targets for respective plant as per the Annual operating plan (AOP) of the Company.

Implement best practices of manufacturing process in factory

Implement learning and improving culture initiatives across plant location to enhancing existing productivity and engagement.

Review and redesign process/SOPs as and when required

Identify and drive cost control measures.

Drive Quality and Customer Service across all units.

Control and drives initiatives to reduce scrap, manpower, overtime

Determine key indicators to track and how often and puts action plans in place when metrics are below target.

Implement budgets, approves expenditures for supplies and materials to ensure these all are used to meet production targets.

Drive continuous improvement in product quality, productivity, employee safety, teamwork, and machine reliability and employee training/development.

Other Responsibilities

o Act as the technical head for transformer business.

Qualification

o Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

o MBA / PGDBA or equivalent/ ICWA

o Certification in good manufacturing practices.
