GM- Contracts & Tenders/Risk Mitigation

As a GM- Contracts & Tenders/Risk Mitigation (T&D and EPC) at a leading company in Conductors/Wires & Cable with a revenue of INR 20K Cr., your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Review, draft, and revise various types of commercial agreements (suppliers, contractors, etc.) to ensure compliance with internal policies and legal standards. - Identify and highlight key legal and commercial risks in contracts and suggest appropriate risk mitigation strategies. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Legal, Procurement, Sales, Finance, and Operations for negotiation and coordination to finalize terms & conditions aligned with business interests. - Manage contract lifecycle by maintaining the contract repository, monitoring contract performance, obligations, and key milestones, and assisting in managing amendments, extensions, and terminations of contracts. Key Skills & Competencies required for this role include: - Strong knowledge of contract & commercial and risk management principles. - Proficiency in contract lifecycle management tools and Microsoft Office Suite. - Good analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills with attention to detail and a high degree of professional ethics. - Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and a Bachelor's degree in law/business administration/commerce (BE/BBA/Law/Commerce). - Post-graduation will be an advantage with a minimum of 15+ years" experience, including at least 5 years in T&D/EPC business particularly heading multi-lateral contracts & Reviews.
