AGM/DGM-Sales, Telecom Passive Infra

Role Overview: As an AGM/DGM-Sales for the Telecom Passive Infra/ OFC Network business of a Mumbai-based wires/cables conglomerate with a turnover of approximately INR 20,000 Cr, your role will involve leading sales strategies, managing client relationships, overseeing the sales team, and driving business development. Your day-to-day tasks will include identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, preparing sales reports, and ensuring customer satisfaction. It will be essential for you to coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's growth. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement effective sales strategies - Manage and nurture client relationships - Lead and oversee the sales team - Drive business development initiatives - Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities - Negotiate contracts with clients - Prepare detailed sales reports - Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction - Coordinate with cross-functional teams - Contribute to achieving sales targets Qualifications: - Degree in Engineering with an MBA or similar management education - Minimum 10 years of business development experience in the Middle East-Africa market in telecom sales - Experience in passive infrastructures is a plus - Strong understanding of the Middle East and Africa telecom landscape - Proficiency in sales strategies, client relationship management, and business development - Excellent skills in contract negotiation and report preparation - Ability to effectively lead and manage a sales team - Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities - Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering results - Knowledge of the telecom passive infrastructure industry is advantageous,
