Global QA Practice Lead

Job Purpose:

The Global QA Practice Lead will define, lead, and evolve the QA strategy across the organization. The role focuses on building high-performing global QA teams, advancing automation, and ensuring world-class quality delivery aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute global QA strategy, governance, and best practices.
  
• Drive adoption of automation-first and continuous testing across all projects.
  
• Lead and mentor global QA teams to ensure consistent quality delivery.
  
• Collaborate with delivery, architecture, and PM teams to align QA processes.
  
• Define and track global QA KPIs for efficiency and effectiveness.
  
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and SLAs.
  
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through quality excellence.
  
• Introduce AI-enabled tools and frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
  
• Conduct training, workshops, and best-practice sessions for QA teams.
  
• Support HR and leadership in QA capability development and career growth.
  
• Identify risks, dependencies, and quality bottlenecks with mitigation plans.
  
• Represent QA in executive discussions and client engagements.
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10-15 years of QA experience, including 5-7 years in leadership roles managing global teams.
  
• Strong knowledge of automation frameworks (Data-driven, Keyword-driven, Hybrid).
  
• Expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright.
  
• Hands-on experience in CI/CD, DevOps, and continuous testing integration.
  
• Knowledge of Java, Python, TypeScript, APIs, databases, and multi-tier architectures.
  
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and scaled Agile (SAFe, LeSS).
  
• Proficiency in tools like JIRA, BrowserStack, and test management systems.
  
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Experience in eCommerce QA (Adobe Commerce, Shopify, SAP Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud preferred).
