Job Description

Role Overview: As the Global Promo & Commerce Strategy Lead at Unilever, you will play a crucial role in shaping the multi-year Below The Line (BTL) strategy for Marketing and Business Services Procurement. You will work closely with the Global P&C Procurement Director to understand business requirements, prioritize future initiatives, and establish a roadmap for the future of Marketing and BTL. Your focus will be on data gathering, analysis, and creating actionable strategies to drive efficiencies in sourcing and portfolio management. Additionally, you will collaborate with key stakeholders, lead transformation initiatives, and drive a culture of continuous improvement within the global team. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the business needs related to the 1.6 Bn spend and translate them into effective procurement strategies aligned with BG/BU priorities. - Support portfolio leads in developing strategies under the P&C umbrella strategy. - Collaborate with key business functions and procurement teams to drive transformational sourcing strategies and supplier relationships in line with UL's GAP 2030. - Establish a performance framework to track and enhance marketing investments across P&C portfolios. - Track financial targets and other KPIs globally, ensuring delivery of results from all BGs and BUs. - Support Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) initiatives to unlock value and drive growth. - Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align priorities and enable rapid deployment. - Lead the execution of priorities and transformation initiatives globally. - Drive digital approaches and technology enablers to manage the portfolio efficiently and advance sustainability goals. - Manage internal performance reporting and key performance indicators. Qualifications Required: - 12+ years of procurement experience, with a focus on Marketing procurement or related indirect procurement portfolios. - Expertise in strategic sourcing, portfolio strategy, and managing complex global portfolios. - Proficiency in data analytics, understanding marketing value chains, and the latest technology advancements. - Knowledge of financial implications of marketing investments and supply market dynamics. - Experience in stakeholder management, problem-solving, and project management. - Demonstrated leadership skills to lead virtual global teams and drive change initiatives. - Ability to work under pressure, navigate ambiguity, and lead through change. - Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive change. - Passion for continuous improvement, strong business acumen, and project management capabilities. - Stakeholder management, people skills, and a transformation mindset. - Willingness to travel internationally (up to 10% on average).
