GenAI Engineer

LLM fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)

Key Responsibilities

Model Development & Integration

• Research, fine-tune, and integrate

  Large Language Models (LLMs)

  such as GPT, Llama, Claude, and others.
• Design and build

  GenAI-powered applications

  for text, code, and multimodal use cases.
• Develop and deploy

  RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)

  pipelines using vector databases.

AI Application Engineering

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and UX teams to build scalable AI-driven applications.
• Evaluate and optimize

  model performance, latency, and cost

  for production-grade systems.
• Implement responsible AI practices to mitigate bias, hallucination, and privacy risks.

Experimentation & Innovation

• Conduct AI experimentation for automation and process improvement using tools like

  LangChain

  ,

  AutoGen

  , or

  ReAct

  .
• Stay current with emerging trends, open-source frameworks, and APIs in the

  GenAI ecosystem

  .
• Document and communicate findings, improvements, and best practices.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

  Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field

  .

• 3–5 years of professional experience

  in

  AI/ML engineering

  or

  GenAI development

  roles.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of

  Natural Language Processing (NLP)

  ,

  deep learning

  , and

  transformer-based architectures

  .
• Proficiency in

  Python

  and familiarity with

  REST APIs

  and orchestration tools.
• Experience with

  GenAI frameworks

  such as

  LangChain

  ,

  LlamaIndex

  ,

  Haystack

  , or

  Hugging Face

  .
• Knowledge of

  prompt engineering

  ,

  fine-tuning (LoRA, PEFT)

  , and

  safety alignment

  .
• Familiarity with

  LLMOps tools

  (e.g., Weights & Biases, PromptLayer, BentoML) is an asset.
