As the General Manager Quality at the garment export unit, your role is crucial in ensuring that the products meet and exceed the expectations of the clients. Leading a team of quality control professionals, your primary focus will be to implement strategies to maintain and enhance the quality of garments throughout the production process. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure consistent product quality. - Oversee all aspects of quality control, including inspection of raw materials, in-process inspections, and final product evaluations. - Collaborate with suppliers to establish quality standards and specifications for raw materials and components. - Continuously evaluate production processes, identify improvement opportunities, and enhance product quality and efficiency. - Provide leadership, guidance, training, coaching, and performance management to the quality control team. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to product quality and safety. - Work closely with production and sales teams to address quality-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction. - Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken. - Identify and mitigate quality risks throughout the production process to minimize defects and rework. **Qualification Required:** - B.Tech / Diploma in Textiles - 12 to 15 years of experience in quality management within the garment industry, preferably in an export-oriented manufacturing environment. In addition, the company is looking for someone with in-depth knowledge of garment construction, fabrication techniques, and quality control methodologies.
