The role of General Manager Quality at our garment export unit in Tirupur requires a B.Tech/Diploma in Textiles with 12 to 15 years of experience in the industry. As the Quality Head, you will lead a team of quality control professionals to ensure that our products meet and exceed client expectations throughout the production process. You will be responsible for implementing quality assurance policies, overseeing quality control processes, managing supplier relationships, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing quality assurance procedures, conducting quality control inspections at various stages, collaborating with suppliers to uphold quality standards, identifying process enhancement opportunities, providing leadership to the quality control team, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, addressing customer satisfaction issues, maintaining accurate documentation of quality inspections, and managing quality risks to minimize defects and rework. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in quality management within the garment industry, particularly in an export-oriented manufacturing setup. A deep understanding of garment construction, fabrication techniques, and quality control methodologies is essential.
