Commercial Manager Cotton (Sustainable Cotton Supply Chain)

Experience:

Role Overview

Responsible for strategizing and managing the production, procurement, and supply chain of sustainable cotton, ensuring alignment with global customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure smooth flow, quality, and credibility of sustainably produced cotton across global customers.
Oversee production, procurement, certification, and sales activities for sustainable cotton.
Develop and execute marketing and supply chain strategies.
Coordinate with international customers, farmer groups, production units, and ginning facilities to meet seasonal requirements.
Manage procurement planning, certification, scheduling, inventory, and buyer mapping.
Lead and guide field staff to achieve farm-level and sourcing targets.
Conduct supply chain mapping, value-chain assessments, and traceability audits.
Ensure compliance with certification standards and social requirements.
Identify supply chain bottlenecks and implement solutions.
Monitor farming, ginning, and overall supply chain processes; verify stakeholder documents each season.
Stay updated on global sustainable cotton and textile industry trends.
Drive commercial and business development for sustainable cotton.
Lead a team of 10–15 members and manage customer communications.
Prefer experience with international brands, sustainability practices, and relevant tech systems.
