General Manager / Assistant General Manager Electrical Contracting

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic professional to lead and manage our electrical projects in and around Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electrical contracting and project management, capable of independently handling multiple sites, teams, and client interactions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Independently handle all ongoing electrical project sites in and around Mumbai.
   
2. Supervise and review daily reports from Site Coordinators and Engineers.
   
3. Plan and organize manpower requirements as per project needs.
   
4. Maintain effective communication and rapport with clients.
   
5. Resolve on-site technical issues promptly and efficiently.
   
6. Implement systems and processes to ensure smooth project execution and operational efficiency.
   
7. Identify and pursue opportunities for new project orders.
   
8. Review and clear purchase indents after thorough verification.
   
9. Report project progress and key updates to Directors on a daily basis.
   
10. Ensure timely preparation, submission, and certification of GST bills.
    
11. Monitor workmanship and ensure high standards of quality control at all sites.
    
12. Handle professional correspondence with Clients, Architects, and Consultants.
    
13. Prepare PERT charts, work schedules, and track progress.
    
14. Set project targets and monitor their achievement.
    
15. Visit each project site at least once a week to review progress and address challenges.
    

Preferred candidate profile

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  
• Minimum 20 years of experience in electrical project execution for large-scale residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
  
• Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills.
  
• Sound knowledge of project planning, billing, and resource management.
  
• Ability to lead teams, implement systems, and ensure project profitability.
