General Manager Media

Role & responsibilities

* Develop the overall media strategy for the companys real estate projects in Pune / Maharashtra: including ATL (above-the-line) channels (print, outdoor hoardings, radio, OOH), BTL/ATL mix, digital media (social, search, display) and partnerships.

* Plan and manage the annual media budget: allocate spends across channels, forecast ROI, monitor actual spends, negotiate/liaise with agencies and vendors.

* Lead media buying, planning, vendor management and ensure cost-efficiency in media placements.

* Drive lead-generation via media channels: work closely with marketing, sales & CRM teams to ensure media efforts convert into enquiries/bookings.

* Track media KPIs: impressions, reach, lead-cost, conversion from media, media ROI; prepare MIS & dashboards for senior management.

* Collaborate with brand & content team: ensure media messaging is consistent with brand positioning, project USPs, and target consumer segments.

* Oversee digital media: SEO/SEM, social media campaigns, display, programmatic marketing, retargeting strategies for real estate.

* Manage relationships with media agencies, creative agencies, OOH vendors, digital platform partners; ensure contracts, timelines and deliverables are met.

* Monitor competitor media activity, market trends and consumer behaviour in realestate; recommend media innovations and strategic shifts accordingly.

* Ensure compliance with advertising regulations and guidelines relevant to real estate (e.g., project disclosures, RERA-related disclaimers).

* Lead & mentor a team of media/planning executives; define roles, build capabilities, optimize media processes.

* Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, CRM, Finance to link media spend to business outcomes and ensure accountability.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Graduate in Marketing/Communications/Media; MBA preferred.
• experience allocating large media budgets and delivering ROI.
• Proven track record of building brand and lead-generation via media in the real estate.
• Excellent vendor negotiation skills, media analytics understanding, contract management.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills; ability to drive change and optimise workflows .
