General Manager Land Acquisition

As the General Manager (GM) - Land Acquisition at Sumadhura, your primary responsibility is to drive the strategic vision, planning, and execution of land acquisition initiatives to align with the company's long-term business objectives. You will work closely with the Chairman cum Managing Director (CMD) and lead a team of professionals to secure land opportunities that expand Sumadhura's footprint in key markets. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and execute a comprehensive land acquisition strategy aligned with Sumadhura's growth vision. - Partner with executive leadership to define land portfolio expansion plans. - Lead market intelligence efforts to identify opportunities and risks in target geographies. - Oversee the end-to-end land acquisition lifecycle, including negotiations and due diligence. - Collaborate with various functions to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisitions. - Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing team of land acquisition professionals. - Build and maintain strategic relationships with key external stakeholders. - Provide regular land feasibility reports and strategic insights to senior leaders. **Qualifications & Experience:** - Minimum 15-20 years of progressive experience in land acquisition or real estate development. - Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, land valuation techniques, and negotiation strategies. - Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Relevant educational background: MBA or equivalent preferred.
