Role & responsibilities Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering 15+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a significant portion in a leadership role. Extensive knowledge of automobile manufacturing processes, sheet metal, press shop, welding and painting. Should have proven track record of delivering consistent quality using various Quality control methods. Experience in Tool Design, audit and management. Should have experience in New Product Development. Experience in handling sub-vendor management for arranging piece parts in time for production. Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, drive continuous improvement, and achieve results. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus. Proficiency in relevant software and systems used within the manufacturing facility.
