General Manager/ Head

1.Role & responsibilities

1. Lead and manage all HR & IR functions across O & M Projects.

2. Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable labour laws including Factories Act, CLRA, PF,ESI, WC, Minimum wages, Bonus, Gratuity and other state/ central regulations.

3. Oversee the implementation and operation of both manual and software based payroll systems ensuring accuracy, timeliness and statutory compliance.

4. Drive HR digitization and integration of HRIS across sites for seamless employee lifecycle management and MIS reporting.

5. Manage a large diverse multi cited workforce including permanent staff, contract labour and outsourced personnel at multiple O & M project locations.

6. Formulate and implement HR policies, grievance redressal mechanisms, welfare programs & retention strategies.

7. Lead industrial relations and liaise with labour, unions, contractors & statutory bodies.

8. Ensure timely renewal of Labour licenses, contractor registrations & all related documentation.

9. Conduct regular HR Audits, statutory inspections and ensure corrective action plans.

10. Work closely with senior management on manpower planning, organization development and workforce optimization.

11. Support tender and commercial teams by providing accurate manpower cost inputs and compliance planning for upcoming projects.

12. Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills to manage field HR teams and diverse site personnel.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Candidate must have 24 yrs.- 30+ yrs. experience in HR role into thermal power sector/ Operations & Maintenance sector/ EPC Contractor/ Service industry

2. Preferred only male candidate.

3. Willing to travel PAN India

4. The ideal Candidate must have end to end knowledge into IR & HR Operations for large, dispersed multi located workforce, well versed in Indian Labour laws
