Job Description

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute HR strategies aligning with business objectives.
Drive recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes for skilled and managerial staff.
Implement performance management systems and employee appraisal programs.
Oversee compensation & benefits, payroll coordination, and employee welfare initiatives.
Lead learning & development programs to enhance skillsets across the organization.
Build strong employee engagement and retention strategies.
Succession planning for key leadership roles.

Compliance & Industrial Relations

Ensure statutory compliance related to labor laws and textile industry standards (Factories Act, PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.).
Develop and maintain HR policies and SOPs in line with legal requirements.
Liaise with statutory bodies and external auditors.
Maintain harmonious industrial relations and manage union negotiations where applicable.
Oversee audits related to social compliance (e.g., SA 8000, WRAP, SEDEX, BSCI).

Administration & Facility Management

Manage general administration, security, transport, and housekeeping operations across plants/offices.
Optimize infrastructure and resources to ensure a safe and productive workplace.
Implement health, safety, and environmental guidelines.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English.
Leadership capability with proven experience managing large teams.
In-depth knowledge of HR trends, compliance frameworks, and textile industry practices.
Problem-solving and conflict resolution proficiency.
High integrity, result-orientation, and stakeholder management abilities.
