Reporting Manager – Business Head

Position Summary

This position is responsible for leading strategic business growth, sales leadership, and successful project execution within the Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Transmission line sector for the designated region. The role demands deep expertise in power sector business development, a strong sales track record, and team leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales and business development strategies specifically for T&D (transmission line) projects in the East & North East Region.
  • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with clients, government agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Lead contract negotiations, project bids, and proposals to secure transmission line projects.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and project management to align sales strategies with project execution.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities in the T&D sector.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and sales targets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in Engineering, Business, or related field; preference for electrical engineering or MBA in Power Management.
  • 10-15 years’ experience in business development and sales in the T&D or power infrastructure sector, with proven leadership and deal closure record.
  • Deep understanding of transmission & distribution project lifecycles, government regulations, and EPC contracting practices.
  • Exceptional negotiation, client engagement, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, including market research and competitive strategy formulation.
