In a healthcare environment, the Trade Marketing Executive or Senior Executive bridges traditional trade marketing with referral development and external relationship management. The role focuses on strengthening partnerships with referring doctors, clinics, corporates, and community stakeholders to drive patient inflow and enhance hospital visibility.
Core Responsibilities
1. Build and maintain strong, long-term professional relationships with referring physicians, independent clinics, diagnostic centers, and specialty practitioners.
2. Develop partnerships with corporate organizations, insurance companies, and government institutions for tie-ups and panel empanelment's.
3. Serve as a point of contact for external partners, ensuring timely communication and support
4. Conduct daily field visits to meet external healthcare professionals and introduce hospital specialties, infrastructure, and service offerings.
5. Promote treatment packages, new departments, and high-value services to drive patient referrals and increase hospital footfall.
6. Monitor referral patterns and ensure consistent follow-up to strengthen engagement.
7. Plan and execute outreach activities such as health camps, screening drives, and community wellness programs.
8. Organize Continuous Medical Education (CME) sessions, doctor engagement events, and networking initiatives.
9. Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure smooth event operations and quality patient interaction.
10. Conduct research and competitor benchmarking to understand market trends, patient expectations, and new business opportunities.
11. Identify untapped territories and referral sources to expand the hospitals outreach.
12. Provide actionable insights to management for strategic planning.
13. Implement offline marketing initiatives such as promotional materials, branding collaterals, and in-clinic visibility.
14. Support digital marketing activities, including social media promotions and content coordination when required.
15. Ensure uniform brand representation across all external touchpoints.
16. Prepare daily/weekly reports on field visits, referral performance, and marketing activity outcomes.
17. Track trade spends, event budgets, and ROI of marketing initiatives.
18. Work toward achieving monthly and quarterly patient acquisition, conversion, and revenue targets.
