We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented General Ledger Supervisor to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in public accounting and private industry, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.

Roles and Responsibility

Supervise and manage the month-end close process, including journal entry preparation and review.
Ensure SOX compliance and execute quarterly/annual audit processes.
Identify and drive project-based work to enhance process efficiencies for the general ledger team.
Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Provide guidance and support to junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
Minimum 8 years of combined public accounting and private industry experience, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, FRS, SEC regulations, and SOX internal controls.
Excellent management and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs) and Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Detail-oriented and communicative, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A team player adept at building relationships across the organization.
Adherence to deadlines in a fast-paced environment without losing accuracy.
Strong systems knowledge, including the ability to quickly learn new systems.
