General Ledger Supervisor

Role Overview: You will be responsible for performing daily and monthly general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments. Additionally, you will ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. - Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies. - Maintain and update the fixed assets register, including additions, disposals, and depreciation. - Process intercompany transactions and reconciliations. - Support compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal control frameworks. - Support GST, TDS, and other statutory filings in coordination with the compliance team. - Provide data and schedules to internal and external auditors. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data flow and reporting. - Assist in developing and enhancing accounting systems and process automation initiatives. - Maintain documentation for accounting processes and procedures. - Assist in implementing process improvements and automation within the accounting function. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - CPA or equivalent certification preferred. - Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards. - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
