General Auditor - AVP

Role Overview: As the General Auditor - AVP based in Mumbai, India, you will participate in internal audits of specific business/functional areas, assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, and conduct Concurrent Audit deliverables as part of Group Audit. You will also work on ad hoc projects and Special Investigations, collaborating with subject matter experts and other teams to ensure comprehensive audit coverage. Key Responsibilities: - Execute day-to-day operational audit work and contribute to audit delivery - Draft high-quality audit reports and facilitate issue tracking - Validate the closure of audit issues - Conduct audit fieldwork following the agreed audit approach - Partner with other teams during audit engagements - Provide expert opinions on action plans for robust remediation - Manage and execute responsibilities with group audit deliverables on Concurrent Audit - Act as a challenger to clients in the issue closure process Qualifications Required: - Possess audit/business knowledge and experience in areas such as Investment Banking, Transaction Banking, Retail & Corporate Banking, Asset & Wealth Management, Risk, Legal & Compliance, Finance, and Information Technology - Solid communication skills, relationship management abilities, analytical skills, and a good understanding of auditing standards and concepts - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university - Professional qualifications like CISA (for IT auditors) or ACA and CPA are required Additional Company Details: Deutsche Bank offers a range of benefits including a best-in-class leave policy, gender-neutral parental leaves, sponsorship for industry-relevant certifications, comprehensive insurance coverage, and employee assistance programs for you and your family members.
