Gemstone Assorter & Jewelry Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Assort, categorize, and organize gemstones based on quality, size, and characteristics
• Maintain structured digital stock records using Excel or inventory management tools
• Support the development of jewelry design concepts and design documentation
• Collaborate on product design and execution with internal teams and external partners
• Assist in gradually developing in-house jewelry manufacturing workflows and processes
• Help align design intent with production feasibility over time

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience with CAD software is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with a creative yet structured mindset
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and meet deadlines
• Knowledge or experience in gemstone grading and identification is an advantage
• Formal education or certification in jewelry, design, or gemology is a plus
• Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and grow, with openness to understanding gemstones, jewelry manufacturing setup, and evolving design-to-production systems
