GCR-TARAS-Advanced Analyst

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Staff - Tax Accounting to join our team. The ideal candidate will have between 2 to 7 years of experience in accounting, financial statement preparation, and income tax computation. ### Roles and Responsibility Prepare and review tax provisions and ensure compliance with US Business Tax law. Analyze financial statements and identify areas for improvement. Develop and maintain strong client relationships and provide excellent customer service. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations. Conduct research and analysis on tax-related matters and provide recommendations. ### Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration; professional certification is a plus (CPA/CA/EA/CMA). Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, financial statement preparation, and income tax computation. Strong understanding of accounting concepts, conventions, and double entry system. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PDF, OTP/Vertex/Longview, SAP/Oracle, or any other FS, and Blackline. A thorough understanding of the Accounting cycle is required. Conceptual understanding of ASC 740 and/or IAS 12 is essential. Conceptual understanding of Valuation Allowance & Uncertain Tax Positions is necessary. Understanding of current taxes, deferred taxes, and ETR is expected. Ability to reconcile the income tax expense/benefit and payable/receivable accounts and perform the true up. Understands the income tax foot note. Hands-on experience with respect to return to accrual / provision to return process is preferred. Conceptual understanding of GAAP Differences is beneficial. Good understanding of US Business Tax Law is required. Flair for Tax & Accounting research is an added advantage.
