As a GCP - JAVA Developer, AVP at Deutsche Bank, you will play a crucial role in the digital transformation journey of the organization. Deutsche Bank is actively renewing its digital channels and embracing Agile software development methodology to enhance agility and reduce time to market while maintaining high quality standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and modernize applications on cloud platforms - Contribute to writing quality code and perform peer code reviews - Integrate, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in distributed systems - Actively participate in squad activities and ceremonies - Apply continuous integration best practices including SCM, build automation, and unit testing - Manage individual task priorities and deliverables - Ensure the quality of solutions provided - Collaborate with squad members to achieve objectives - Report progress using Agile team management tools such as JIRA/Confluence - Support the Product Owner, Analyst, and Scrum Master **Qualifications Required:** - 9 to 12 years of relevant experience - Master's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field - Proficient in Java, J2EE, and the Spring framework - Strong experience in Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, Spring Batch, and Microservice architecture - Familiarity with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (Angular, ReactJs), CSS frameworks - Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) - Knowledge of infrastructure automation, continuous integration/deployment, security, networking, and cloud-based delivery models - Experience in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for developing/provisioning GCP services - Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes/Google Kubernetes Engine - Experience in DevOps/CI/CD, preferably with Jenkins and scripting languages - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP - Strong solution architecture experience in complex environments - Proficient in working with global and local teams in a collaborative agile environment - Familiarity with web servers (Apache), testing & debugging end-to-end - Knowledge of Webservices (REST), messaging (JMS/MQ), databases (Oracle/MySQL), batch processing, security concepts, application servers (Tomcat/Wildfly), and testing & debugging end-to-end - Experience with Content Management/Collaboration products like Documentum, Filenet, SharePoint is a plus - Problem-solving mindset and expertise in functional design, technical design, and programming - Familiarity with Caching Technologies like Hazelcast, Memcached, Redis, etc. Deutsche Bank offers a range of benefits including best-in-class leave policy, gender-neutral parental leaves, sponsorship for relevant certifications, and comprehensive insurance coverage.
