GCP DevOps Engineer | 5 + years

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced GCP DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and DevOps practices to design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GCP-native tools and third-party integrations.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, etc.).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform / Deployment Manager.
• Implement and manage Kubernetes (GKE) clusters for containerized applications.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure system security, compliance, and backup/recovery processes.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployments.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure using Stackdriver / Prometheus / Grafana.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, and Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes (GKE), Docker, Terraform, Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Cloud Build).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Stackdriver, Prometheus, ELK).
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud best practices.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• GCP Professional DevOps Engineer Certification or equivalent.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
