Job Title: GCP Administrator (Linux /Terraform )

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and scale Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including Compute Engine (Linux), VPC, Cloud Storage, IAM, BigQuery, Kubernetes, and Cloud Databases.
• Design, manage, and version Terraform modules for infrastructure provisioning across environments; maintain Terraform state management in cloud storage buckets.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Policy as Code (PaC) to enforce compliance and security baselines.
• Configure and enforce identity and access management (IAM) policies, service accounts, and roles ensuring audit readiness.
• Monitor system performance and resource utilization using Stackdriver (Cloud Monitoring); set up alerts, dashboards, and uptime SLAs.
• Manage and automate containerized deployments via Docker and Kubernetes (GKE) with Helm integration.
• Automate operational and maintenance tasks using Bash and/or Python scripting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud operations with security, compliance, and governance standards.
• Perform cost optimization, drift detection, and performance tuning for GCP workloads.
• Integrate and manage secrets using HashiCorp Vault or Google Secret Manager; secure CI/CD credentials and pipelines.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, operations, SOPs, and post-incident reviews.
  

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in GCP Administration and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) environments.
• Expertise in Terraform for IaC design, deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Good understanding of GKE, IAM, VPC networking, and cloud security principles.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Cloud Build.
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash/Python) for automation tasks.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana) and log management.
• Familiarity with cost optimization and FinOps concepts in GCP.
  

Preferred Certifications

• Google Cloud Certified – Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect
• HashiCorp Certified – Terraform Associate
