Game Economy Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and balance all aspects of the in-game economy, including rewards, sinks, sources, and item pricing.
• Create engaging progression systems such as leveling, crafting, upgrades, and daily rewards.
• Monitor in-game economy performance through live player data and feedback, making adjustments to maintain balance and player engagement.
• Develop simulations and forecasting models to predict player behavior and ensure economy health.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to align economic systems with overall game design and monetization goals.

Requirements:

• Background in economics, statistics, mathematics, game design, or a related field.
• Proven experience designing and balancing in-game economies for mobile, PC, or console games.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation and live operations.
• Proficiency with tools for data analysis and economy simulation.
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to balance player satisfaction with monetization goals.
