About Crayon Art Gallery:

Since its inception in 2006, Crayon Art Gallery has represented the finest Indian art, from the modern progressives to the contemporary period. The gallery enjoys excellent relationships with top patrons and industrial houses, and has placed works in several key collections, museums and auction houses.

Please note:

1. The vetting process for this role comprises 2-3 rounds of interviews. 
2. ​This is an on-site, full-time position based in Delhi.
3. The Art X Company is hiring on behalf of Crayon Art Gallery.
4. The salary band for this role is available on request.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Art History, Fine Arts, Business Administration, Museum Management, or related field.
• At least 1-2 years of experience with gallery management and operations.
• Strong communication skills, with written and verbal proficiency in English
• Competency in using IT systems, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint

Key Personal Attributes & Skills

• Familiarity with the art market; ability to distinguish between primary and secondary market, identify market trends, and discuss the trajectories of the artists represented by the gallery
• Creative individual with drive, sincerity and ability to work efficiently and accurately according to instruction
• Highly organised and detail-oriented with good observation skills
• Values of adaptability and sincerity are critical
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
• Conscientious attitude with the ability to handle precious projects with care
• Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
