Furniture Salesman/woman

As a Customer Service & Sales representative, your role involves greeting customers and understanding their furniture needs and preferences. You will be responsible for presenting, demonstrating, and explaining product features, materials, and design options to help customers make informed decisions. Additionally, you will recommend furniture pieces and accessories based on customers" style, budget, and space requirements. Your duties will also include preparing and processing sales orders, quotations, and invoices, as well as upselling and cross-selling complementary furniture and decor items to maximize sales. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain in-depth knowledge of all furniture lines, materials, finishes, and warranties - Stay updated on current design trends, promotions, and new product arrivals - Explain product care, maintenance, and customization options Qualifications Required: - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Proven sales experience in a retail environment - Knowledge of furniture and design trends In this role, you will be expected to ensure that showroom displays are attractive, organized, and aligned with company standards. You will also assist in arranging furniture displays to highlight key collections and new arrivals, as well as report any damaged or missing inventory items. As part of Customer Relationship Management, you will build and maintain long-term relationships with repeat and potential customers. Following up with customers after delivery to ensure satisfaction and handling any complaints or concerns professionally and promptly are also crucial aspects of this position. You will be required to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Tracking and reporting sales performance, customer preferences, and market trends to management, as well as participating in promotional events, sales campaigns, and exhibitions, will be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with warehouse, delivery, and design teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment, working with other sales staff to meet store goals, and attending sales meetings and product training sessions regularly are essential for effective teamwork and communication.
