Job Title: Furniture Product Designer, Location: Bhubaneswar, Industry: Interior Design / Furniture / Modular Solutions, Department: Customised Factory Finish Product, Reports to:  Director.     Job Summary: We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Furniture Product Designer with a strong background in manufacturing and design industry. The Furniture Products Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing innovative, functional, and aesthetically appealing furniture products in line with market trends and client requirements. The role involves translating ideas into detailed drawings, prototypes, and final products while collaborating closely with production, marketing, and sales teams. Key Responsibilities: Conceptualize and design furniture products (residential, commercial, and custom-made). Create detailed AutoCAD, SketchUp, or 3D Max drawings and technical specifications. Research current market trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques. Develop 3D models, colour palettes, and material boards for client presentations. Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective while manufacturing furniture’s. Prepare prototypes and oversee product sampling. Coordinate with vendors and material suppliers for finishes, hardware, and fittings. Modify and improve existing furniture designs based on client or market feedback. Ensure product quality, ergonomics, and sustainability standards are met. Work with marketing and sales teams to support product launches with visuals and documentation. Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, SolidWorks, CorelDRAW, Photoshop, Illustrator, or 3ds Max. Knowledge of furniture materials (wood, metal, glass, fabric, etc.) and joinery techniques. Excellent sense of aesthetics, proportion, and ergonomics. Understanding of manufacturing processes and cost constraints. Attention to detail and problem-solving ability. Strong communication and presentation skills.   Educational Requirement: Bachelors / Diploma in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Interior Design, or Product Design.  Experience: 5–10 years in furniture or product design. Experience in both custom furniture design and modular system design will be an added advantage. Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience.
