Furniture Designer

Role Summary:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Product Designer with a strong

background in commercial office furniture design to join our team. The ideal candidate

will have 2 to 5 years of experience in designing innovative, ergonomic, and functional

furniture products tailored for modern office environments.

As a Product Designer, will work closely with the design, engineering, and production

teams to develop furniture solutions that align with market trends, client needs, and

brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative, functional, and aesthetic furniture designs for commercial

and office environments.

• Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using software such as AutoCAD,

SketchUp, Rhino, or SolidWorks.

• Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and clients to ensure designs are

feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with project requirements.

• Research materials, manufacturing processes, and trends to inform design

decisions.

• Prepare design presentations, mood boards, and prototypes for client and

internal review.

• Conduct ergonomic and usability evaluations to enhance user experience and

product functionality.

• Work within timelines to deliver designs that meet project milestones and quality

standards.

• Maintain documentation of design iterations, material specifications, and

technical data sheets.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or a

related field.

2 to 5 years of relevant experience in furniture design, preferably in the

commercial/office sector.

• Proficiency in design and visualization software (AutoCAD, SketchUp,

SolidWorks, or equivalent).

• Strong understanding of furniture materials, ergonomics, and manufacturing

techniques.

• Ability to translate concepts into functional, market-ready products.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.

• A strong portfolio showcasing past work in commercial furniture or related

design.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
